LOCALISED MIND AND COSMIC MIND

Mind works through the inputs from the five sense organs (Jnanendriyas). It also works through three inner sense organs called (Antahkaranas). When the mind discriminates it is called Intellect (Buddhi). When it brings out memories it is called Chitta. When it reflects attachment to the body it is called Ego (Ahamkara). Beyond the localized mind is the Cosmic mind that is Omnipresent (Atma/ Paramatma/ Brahman).

Inputs from the five senses reflect on Chitta that is filled with karmic baggage, memories of past lives and this life ( Arishadvargas). This reactive mind (based on past) responds to the world in a reactive way. It's reactions are reflections of it's memories and karmic baggage. As we purify ourselves the impurities
(Arishadvargas) melt and proactive mind starts acting. This proactive mind is unique to humans and is called Intellect (Buddhi). Buddhi is the Atmic reflection. At this stage the final barrier for Atmic vision is Ego (mind identified with body). As we become completely pure, we become fully transperent and get connected to the Cosmic mind. This is connection to Atma. This is functioning in Constant Integrated Awareness. This state of Unity is called Realization.
