When one desires to excel in outer sciences, people all over
the world look to the west to go to universities of excellence like the Harvard,
Stanford, Oxford , Cambridge and the like.
The equipment used to study is mostly is outer equipment, mind and
senses. We use processes of the five senses, namely seeing, hearing, touching,
smelling tasting in the exploration. Highest reward is a Nobel prize.
In similar fashion if one desire to excel in inner sciences
one needs to turn towards India. In India each Rishi like Valmiki, Vyasa. Atri,
Bharadwaja, Sankarachaarya and the like are the universities without the walls.
In these universities the teachers are scientists, the students
are research scholars, the subject of study is inner sciences. Free of cost to
all. Equipment used is sixth sense (third
eye) that opens up when the five senses and mind are stilled. Short term reward is peace and joy and final
reward is Self realization (ultimate, unending happiness).
When one develops self realization they conquer both the outer
and the inner world. They get connected to totality of creation, to cosmic knowledge
and cosmic energy. In this state one becomes the Universe, not separate from
it. That is full expansion of the limited self.
